I understadn there is a lot of time from now til March but WTF Tennessee a 8 seed and Tech a 4 seed? They both are ranked near the same. How could won team be that many seeds ahead of the other?
ESPN has VT as a 4 seed right now...I'd like VT's chances to go to the sweet 16 if that bracket were the final one (which it won't be, by any stretch)

i think even the bad teams VT lost to are winning some games they shouldn't and it bumps VT's RPI, plus ESPN realizes that the tournament committee is a "what have you done for me lately?" bunch and with Tech being 9-1 in the last 10 and wins over 2 top 5 teams it puts em up there

i aint arguing with Tech seeding. But Tennessee is 8-2 in the last ten with wins over Memphis, TExas, and Ok State and one loss to OSU by 2. I just think they are better tan a 8 seed. BUt liek what was said above its just for shiits and giggles lol.

Considering that conference schedules just got started, all ESPN is doing is trying to make themselves important.
Give them 5 years, they'll be doing the bracketology thing in July.
